Lilia and Trais

リリアとトレイズ

Not at all sure about the spelling on Trais' name.
Follow-up series to Alison about the children of the four main characters in that series.
In marked contrast to her parents, Lilia barely gives Trais the time of day, and their encounters generally consist of comically strained conversation broken only when crisis is thrust upon them. Their parents still play a fairly active role in things, and neither child is quite as impressively supercapable, though they have their moments.
There are currently two stories over four volumes.

Doing a next generation story has allowed him to flesh out the world a lot -- in the Alison novels the world feels designed to fit the story, but by the second Lilia and Trais story, he is very obviously building on the history established in the original series as fodder for his new stories. Having a very good memory for names does come as an advantage.
