Prolific writer of pop novels, mainly mystery.
Debuted in 2002 at the age of twenty, and has written fifteen novels over the last three years.
His name is normally spelled Nishio Ishin (Ishin Nishio in Western order) but in the above romanization it becomes a palindrome, which Kodansha has turned into a sort of logo on the covers of his books.
